For the final session of the Winter Academy, the youth played a team of parents and "ringers", in this case, a Bisons ex youth player! Despite the added experience, and even with several minutes of added time, the parents could not quite match the skills of the academy players, and the youth ended up deserved winners, 9-8! This proved to be a great way to end the academy sessions, and was a great hit with youth and adults alike. It was good to see hoe the youth players had improved and developed over the weeks, and it was also good to see the parents' enthusiasm and willingness to have a go!
